The Reverend Christopher Capaldo

Rector

Chris was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. While attending Florida State University as an undergraduate, he was a member of the vestry at the Episcopal Chapel of the Resurrection, the FSU College Chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew, and the Youth Director for St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Quincy, Florida.

Chris attended seminary at The School of Theology at The University of the South, in Sewanee, Tennessee.  He was the Resident Seminarian at St. Agnes, Cowan, Tn, and worked at the Society for the Propagation of Christian Knowledge (SPCK).

He was ordained to the Priesthood in 2014 in the Diocese of Florida. He was assigned as the Curate to St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Fernandina Beach, Florida for two years, and stayed on at St. Peter's as Assistant Rector until 2017. Chris was then called as Rector of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion in Plaquemine, Louisiana for four years. In 2020, Chris began as Rector of the Parish of St. Chrysostom’s here in Wollaston. In the Diocese of Massachusetts, Chris serves on the Diocesan Young Adult Advisory Committee, and is a member of the Cathedral Chapter.

I was born and raised in Roslindale, MA and attended Boston Public Schools.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Curry College, Milton, MA and an Associates degree in Nursing from Laboure College, Milton, MA.  I am a member of the First Congregational Church of Randolph and sing in the Chancel Choir, play handbells with the Chapel Chimes, perform with the Praise Band. 

In addition, I serve on various committees within the church.  My home is in Randolph where I live with my spouse, two dogs and cat.  On nice days, I can be found on the golf course, hiking, biking or out and about with my camera taking photographs.
